SharedCare Expands Coverage

The SharedCare Plan, focused on providing health care coverage to uninsured, lower-wage workers in the tri-county region, has expanded its coverage to include uninsured independent contractors, sole proprietors and business owners who also live with the uncertainty of not having health care coverage.

The goal of the SharedCare Plan is to provide comprehensive health care coverage and fill the gap for those who cannot afford traditional insurance, but make too much to qualify for state or federal sponsored programs.
